Almost any piece of wooden furniture will fit into the shabby chic style if painted white. I usually get my pieces from Flea Markets, garage sales and antique shops. This trunk I got from a garage sale, for believe it or not $10.00. It's a cedar chest and it was in exelent shape. All I did was fix the little wheels and painted white and used the crakle technique.
